Girlfriends Films’ Is Very Pleased to Report 25 AVN 2012 Nominations
0December 20, 2011 — RESEDA, Calif. — Girlfriends Films is the most nominated lesbian studio for the 2012 AVN Awards. Topping its outstanding total the previous year, the renowned studio is nominated 25 times for the January award show. Critically acclaimed, bestselling series “Budapest,” “Girls in White 2011,” “Pin-Up Girls,” “Please Make Me Lesbian,” and “Women Seeking Women” are all nominated for Best All-Girl Series, a category Girlfriends Films took home the previous 4 years. Films and series under Girlfriends Films’ distribution deal with Juicy Pink Box earned 7 nominations, while the distribution deal with photographer Tammy Sands earned 2 nominations. Representative of Girlfriends Films elite year is a nomination for Best Overall Marketing Campaign – Company Image.

Girlfriends Films and Juicy Pink Box signed a heralded distribution deal late in 2010. The first titles to release under the deal were “Taxi 1 & 2” combining for 5 nominations, including Best All-Girl Release, Best New Series, Best All-Girl Sex Scene, Best All-Girl Group Scene, and Best Solo Sex Scene. “Therapy” is nominated for Best Solo Release, while Juicy Pink Box also received a nom for Best New Line under Girlfriends Films. In addition to its nominations with Girlfriends Films, Juicy Pink Box is also nominated for Best Alternative Website (www.JuicyPinkBox.com).

Acclaimed “Women Seeking Women” Is Nominated for Best Series, While “Women Seeking Women 60” & “Field of Schemes 8”
Girlfriends Films received three nominations for the 2010 NightMoves Adult Entertainment Awards. The critically acclaimed series “Women Seeking Women” is nominated for Best Series, while the nominations of “Women Seeking Women 60” and “Field of Schemes 8” for Best All Girl / Girl Release demonstrates Girlfriends Films’ elite status in lesbian adult entertainment. The 18th annual NightMoves Awards will be held in Tampa Bay, Florida on October 10. Unique to the industry, NightMoves offers both editor and fan awards for each award category.
